The meeting will review the mandatory boat washing program introduced in 2017 by the municipalities of Blue Sea and Messines.  This program continues and has been improved with the Association’s support.  Both municipalities are strongly committed to ensuring that all watercrafts entering lakes in the Blue Sea watershed are properly washed to prevent the introduction of new invasive species in our waterways.

Thirdly, the meeting will report on an ambitious drive by the Board of the Association to recruit and engage members both residents and cottagers living on ALL the lakes in the watershed.  As a result, the Association has more members than ever before. More importantly, by creating a new class of associative membership, we will be able to work with individual lake associations towards 3405 releves eauour common goal of protecting and preserving the watershed. This will require adoption of amendments to the General Rules of the Association at the meeting.

The meeting will report on the latest results of the ongoing water surveys on the lakes through the RSVL program. As always, there will be an opportunity for members to raise questions and voice concerns about the state of the watershed. This feedback is essential to ensuring that the Association remains true to its mission.
